An old favourite that is again back in the drinks cupboard here. ?
One is well aquainted with absinthe, and having tried others over the years, would say that this is one of the best. There is something magical and otherworldly about absinthe, say no more!
I agree with another reviewer that this is my personal favourite absinthe. After trying several different ones, I keep coming back to this. My order history with Whiskey Exchange speaks volumes :) (great experience every time with perfect packaging by the way). This absinthe is wonderfully bitter, which can be adjusted to your personal taste with sugar of course. I must admit, I enjoy it with 3 cubes :) The level of thujone is also perfectly balanced for a perfect absinthe experience. In my opinion this absinthe is perfectly described by Crowley's description of absinthe as "The Green Goddess". Wonderful.
I've tried alot of different Absinthe and this by far is 1 of the best. It has a mellow licorice/Anise flavor and the alcohol heat isn't overwhelming like some absinthe thats out there at a lower proof. I prefer this brand over absinthe that I've paid 60 to 75 dollars a drink for. If you like absinthe you'll love Grande Absinthe Original in my opinion, but hey what do I know.
I haven't tried IT was a birthday prezent. But i can say that my friend was delighted.
