Appearance - Crystal clear.

Aroma - As the label says, "initial grassiness is followed by aromas of capsicum and green walnuts" add that the walnuts are pickled as there is also a whiff of vinegar and, as with the 2010 vintage, this also has pollen heavy blossom aromas.

Taste - Opens with a slight sweetness before turning dry with hairspray and earthiness. Slightly creamy with tropical fruit esters.

Aftertaste - Tart, slightly citric finish with lingering liquorice and tropical fruit.
