Tasting Notes by Simon Difford (CLASS Magazine)
Clear, pale golden. Lightly spicy, creamy butterscotch and dried tropical fruit nose with spicy oak and the merest whiff of mint and eucalyptus oil. Medium-bodied fruity palate with a dry oakyness and pronounced salty smokiness resembling an Islay malt. Long, dry, salty and slightly smoky finish is more whisky-like than you'd expect of any rum.
