Not normally one for sherry casks but it's beautifully offset by the Islay nature and can cope with a smidgen of water.
Nose: Lots of sherry influence, caramel, char, butterscotch, hints of citrus, vanilla, cocoa. 24
Palate: Coffee, sultanas, resin, nutty, cocoa, walnut, almond. 22
Finish: Bitter chocolate, coffee, raisins. 22
Balance: works really well I think, for a 9 year old there's lots going on but it all hangs together well. I really liked it! 23
