A special pot still whiskey-heavy version of Jameson. Select Reserve has lots of first fill bourbon and sherry casks in the mix giving it a much richer flavour than regular Jameson, with a strong sherried note.
Tasting Notes by Dominic Roskrow for Whisky Advocate
Bright sparks, these Jameson guys. This takes all the worldwide quality and balance of the standard bottle and adds a large dollop of pot still whiskey, providing plummy, rich fruits to the mix. They may have also upped the effects of oak, too, so there's an extra depth to the whiskey. Fans of the brand will love it, and pot still whiskey fans will appreciate an affordable full-flavoured blend.

This is an absolute stunner. So full of aroma

Another fantastic product from Jameson's! A beautiful vanilla nose is followed by a deeper, richer flavour than their standard whiskey then a long, sweet, vanilla oak finish. A very enjoyable drink and 'must have' bottle for lovers of Irish whiskey.

I've been an Irish Whiskey fan for more years than I care to remember and this is excellent stuff. Warm and friendly. Easy neat or with a splash of water, savour. Great aroma too. Smoother than a Bushmills 10

This is now the ONLY whiskey I drink... I got it as a gift and I haven't touched anything else since, I've even got my friends purchasing their own.
REDICULOUSLY easy to drink, also very versatile as I sometimes drink it over ice or serve it with dark chocolate as an after-dinner treat.

I probably like the 12 year old a bit more, have to still compare some day... but this is decent, very easy to drink. I guess I have to try the gold reserve next.

This was excellent, and tasted of vanilla and lemons, leaving a long aftertaste. Just sublime.

This is fantastic whiskey. After Jameson Gold and Green Spot it is the best whiskey in world.

Although the name "Jameson Select Reserve Small Batch" implies that this is aimed at Americans used to Small Batch Bourbon, please do not be put off, it is a very good whiskey, well worth a try. It has slightly more body and a less musty more treacly nose than the standard Select Reserve, whilst being less oily than the (seemingly discontinued) Jameson Distiller's Selection 12 year old. I can heartily reccomend this whiskey.
