A special edition of Glenlivet that was originally released as a travel retail exclusive. Designed by Alan Winchester, only the 3rd Master Distiller at Glenlivet since their 1817 founding, and combining whisky matured in both first and refill casks from both Europe and the USA.
I sat around sipping the reserve and loving it, even more so than the 15yr or the Nadurra.

This is very flavorful and very smooth. The only disappointment is that it is only 40%, I can only imagine how great this would be at cask strength.

The classic 12 years old is much better

Delicious! One of my favourites of all time. Fruity on the nose, smooth and well-rounded palate with heather honey sweetness. The finish is too short, in my opinion, which just means I keep going back for another taste. Nice that it's a full litre because it goes very fast indeed once it's open. I've purchased 6 bottles of it on various trips that I've had this year, and just bought another one yesterday at LHR T4 duty free. Well done, Mr Winchester!
