Colour: Chestnut
Nose: Sweet red grape skin, sticky demerera sugar, pressed raisins, rich christmas pudding (post firing with brandy), liquorice, Granny Smith toffee apples and a burnt caramel note underneath
Palate: Lighter than the nose suggests, with sweet sultanas and dessert grapes backed up by syrup sponge, hard black liquorice and treacle toffees
Finish: Spicy, with cinnamon, vanilla and a light touch of smoky wood
