Exceptional un like any other blended Scotch like it
Vanilla and some spice, short on the finish. Smooth as silk, but too smooth for a scotch lover who prefers to be slapped around a bit by his dram. A value buy.
A very tasty and well balanced whisky. A touch sherried, with the swarm, creamy spice coming through as subtle undergrowth. You could argue there is a place both for this and the Blue in any collection, but for me the Blue just edges it in terms of sheer presence and punch, pound for pound.
