A limited edition vodka from Chase, aged in casks that previously held smoky Islay whisky from the Laphroaig distillery. A very interesting experiment from the award-winning maverick Hereford distillers, who have also released a bourbon-cask-aged vodka at the same time as this one.

Appearance
Clear (with very slight precipitation), very faint straw yellow tint.

Aroma
Mildly smoky, vegetal palate nose with faint pine.

Taste
Mildly smoky, vegetal palate with barbeque charcoal, sweet vanilla and faint liquorice.

Aftertaste
Bone dry, peppery barbeque charcoal with smoky bacon and sweet vanillins. Fabulously whisky-like vodka but perhaps a tad over oaked.

Nose: Buttery and light with a hint of medicinal smoke and lemon.

Palate: Sweet toasted oak and butter, smoky lemons, a hint of ham and fresh bandages.

Finish: Lingering lemon and dark wood.
