Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Billy
Nose
Sticky cherries and stewed rhubarb - sweet, rich and fruity but a little bit sour. Hints of marzipan, sweet pastry, leather and orange juice concentrate.
Palate
Thick and sweet, with raisins, oranges, spiced dark chocolate, anis, rich dark wood and a bit of worked leather.
Finish
Cloves, cinnamon, sour green fruit and lingering spicy wood.
Comment
A dark and spicy beast of a whisky, with surprising orangey notes and a nice dry finish.
