Tasting Notes:
Producer's Notes
This is a blend of malt whiskies, with an emphasis on 8 year old Islay malt.   Out of the cask the colour is of pale straw, accentuated in this blend to the colour of fine old amontillado sherry.  The immediate impression is of creosote and tar, with a definite hint of autumn bonfires of withered leaves, the dying embers perhaps revisited the day after.  The rich smokiness does justice to the ethnic origins of this blend and will not disappoint.
