Bowmore 1955 Ceramic Decanter / Bot.1974 / Half-Bottle

A ceramic decanter of 1955 vintage Bowmore, specially bottled for the opening of the distillery's visitor centre on September 12th 1974. This Bowmore 1955 has become a legendary dram amongst the cognoscenti, and recently picked up an enormous score of 97 points from Whiskyfun - the joint-highest score of any Bowmore on the site. Just 100 of these half-bottle sized decanters were produced.
