L'Original Combier Triple Sec Liqueur
70cl / 40%
A triple sec from Combier, who claim that Jean-Baptiste Combier invented the orange liqueur sometime between 1834 and 1848 at their distillery in Saumur. Debated though that is, this is one of the originals, with a a bright citrus flavour.

Tasting Notes:
Tasting Notes for CLASS Magazine

Appearance - Crystal Clear.

Aroma - Superbly clean fragrant orange blossom and bitter orange zest with preserved oranges, cooked lemons and waxy notes of orange scented candle. Faint woodiness akin to brazil nut shells.

Taste - Syrupy yet dry. Opens with zesty orange essence, and quickly develops with a drier mouth feel and notes of Lady Grey tea (bergamot). A steely note runs through the mid palate turning lavender/parma violet.

Aftertaste - Zesty orange finish and lingering note of icing sugar.

Rating - 5/5
