Tasting Notes:
Producer's Notes

Character: A cleverly complex, peaty spirit with strong individuality of character, and absolute integrity.

Colour: Gilded lily.

Nose: A peat smokiness with vanilla sweetness. Followed by spicy black pepper & lemon spiciness, then little wavelets of saltiness. Waiting patiently to emerge are nutmeg, cinnamon, wild mint and the malty sweetness of spring barley.

Palate: Brilliant creaminess. The texture, layer upon layer, imparts an evenness of flavours across the palate and cools the peat fire warmth. A beautiful waltz of aromas, scents, flavours and feelings move across the palate.

Finish: An extraordinary mix of vanilla sweetness and peat smoke with a splash of green fruit syrup and it lingers long & mellow giving total satisfaction. A captivating & uplifting experience to enjoy the art of traditional hand- crafted distillation.

Mood: Defiant. They shall not pass. The thin red line.

Bought for me by my wife Charlotte for Valentines Day- the perfect gift! I guess she loves me... This is an earthy, peaty dram that is so smooth for the weight that you fail to notice making it easy to get caried away with. You can tell that this individual and unique example is produced with a lot of love and care. Wild mint, barley, spicy lemon with a rich smokey resonant finish. If you love a bold, rounded and peaty example, you will be heartily rewarded. An absolute joy.
