Producer's Notes

Nose: Beautifully balanced aromas of Demarara, spices and chocolate raisins.

Appearance: Rich ruby-red with mahogany notes.

Palate: Sensational combination of mocha, raisins and dark chocolate with a powerful presence of Demerara rum, fruitcake and toffee apples.

Excellent whisky! I was fortunate enough to find a vendor that still had a few bottles of this left and I snatched one up at once. Very smooth and oily mouthfeel. Initial taste of dark chocolate, apricots, clove, a bit of oak, and honeyed almonds. A nice spicy finish with spiced orange peel, fruitcake, and a bit of caramel. And what a gorgeous color!
