Fruity and grapes sense once you open the bottle ,very strong sweet smell,hint of honey taste aswell its carzy but this vsop is mid in smoothness and easy to drink on ice rocks!! Its for people like aged drinks to make cocktals or making sweet cognac carrot cakes or other sweet bakes and sweet foods, its bit better than a VS Courvoisier or any other vs. As vsop is not the top vsop but still goood!
My go to Cognac. It is exceptionally easy to drink which is a double-edged sword. It lacks some of the more interesting and challenging aromatics that characterise the more adventurous Cognacs but it is so easy on the palette that I consider it an essential part of my armoury.
Exceptionally smooth Cognac; however, it lacks the fruity character that one seeks in Cognac & Armagnac , which many of the rivals of Courvoisier typically bear. I guess this would make it a good choice for those who are particularly obsessed with velvety smooth texture in a hard drink, but beware it is a trade off between texture and all the rest (aroma, palate, finish) in this case.
