A dark amber-gold, full sweet vanilla delicately smoked with a rich and long lasting finish. Glenfarclas 21yo is delicious stuff, and a bargain at this price.

A very tempting nose with fruit, soft vanilla and parfume like rose leaf. A bit one sided palate, not much complexity to me. The finish is short, but pleasant. I think 15 yo Glenfarclas is much better than 21 yo. The older isn't always or even most of the time the better.

Sampled in a large cognac glass with a tiny splash of water. Nose: big, sherry, ginger, spice, Scottish tablet, vanilla. Taste: dark chocolate, digestive biscuits, nutty, toffee, with a smooth burst of flavours. Finish: Long, persistent, pleasing with good finesse. A classy dram for a good price.

Nose: Lots of nose, oak and harsh wood. Of course vanilla, nuts and sherry.Taste: Again, harsh, wood, strong and bold. Bubbly and lovelySummary: Lots of character, peppery, very nice balance. Light and a feeling of summer. Smooth and complex. Not that much sherry as hoped but still a great whisky.

I had a shot of this this in a bar and was very impressed. In Canada I have to pay $125 for a bottle, so they corrected the price upwards :), but i'll still make it my next bottle. You guys, enjoy this bargain!

Very nice dram worth more than it costs in my opinion. The nose is dying good!
