really smooth, like it.

This is not very smoky but still very nice, it's much better than the ordinary Glenfiddich 12 and it's very similar to Glenfiddich 15 although not quite as good, would definitely buy this again.

I think Suzi Q is right, it's finished in an Islay cask to get the smokey flavour.

Straw colour and slight peaty badger smell. Inital taste is of woodpecker wing and then finishes strongly of slight smoke. Mine had a strange shaped bottle which I complained about.

The smoke is quite light and pleasant. Don't expect a powerful Islay, it reminds me more of Talisker. Very nice and pretty smooth - worth the money and different from the regular GF.

Are you sure this is made from peated barley not just an Islay cask finish?
