Nose: Intense caramel and fudge with floral syrup, pine needles, gingerbread and tannic grape skins hiding underneath.
Palate: Crunchie bars, dark fruit, butter toffee and cinnamon biscuits. Lots of dark caramel notes giving a bitter sweet base note.
Finish: Soft caramel and generally soft - sweet with a light fruit skin dryness, with a little bit of tingly spice
Comment: The dram hangs off a huge centrepiece of cinder toffee - if you like that (which I do) then you'll like this.
On the Eye: Deep brass / gold
On the Nose: Notes of choc-chip cookie, orange marmalade and clove.
On the Palate: Spicy dried fruits (raisin and date)
The Finish: Hints of plum, sultana and cocoa
