A litre bottle of Dubonnet, first introduced in 1846 after a French Government competition to persuade the Foreign Legionnaires based in North Africa to drink quinine to combat malaria. It is a blend of fortified wine, herbs and spices and this 1980s bottle was bottled at 16%.
