A 2013 release, Sipsmith V.J.O.P Gin turns the juniper up to 11 as well as being bottled at higher strength of 57.7%. The process includes a 'triple juniper' technique which adds the juniper at three stages - first it is macerated for three days, then more juniper is added to the pot still and finally vapour infused into the spirit. This will work well in fuller flavoured gin-based cocktails.
Nose: Junipery pine and cedarwood dominate with hints of zesty orange.
Palate: BIG juniper upfront with rich spice and notes of dark chocolate.
Finish: Long and dry with a lovely balance as the juniper shines.

Lovely, full, smooth, the juniper really showed through (bottle already finished!) and really made the Gs&T on a sunny balcony truly fab!

Quite impressive. Strong, smooth, flavorful, and yes it is rather strong!

Superb. Truly superb.
The extra juniper really shines through, giving a fantastic edge to the gin and the G&Ts you make with it.
The extra cost above 'regular' Sipsmith is pretty much perfectly offset by the higher ABV, too - for the same strength of G&T you need less G, so the per-drink cost is about the same.
In other words - more juniper flavour for the same price! Bargain.
