Nose: Toffee and golden sugar up front, with raisin studded tarte tatin (made with sharp Granny Smith apples), buttered toast and lemon rind. The citrus gives way to darker, sweeter flavours, with toffee and sweetened butter developing.
Palate: Soft and fruity, with apples, pears, Refresher chews, Rhubarb and Custard boiled sweets and raisins, turning towards apple skin and slightly drying, dark woody notes. Woody spice develops, along with soft, polished oak.
Finish: Gentle, with fresh cut oak, apple and digestive biscuits.
Nose: Sweet and mellow. Marinated rich fruits, prunes and vanilla.
Palate: Smooth and creamy custard, Christmas pudding, dark fruits.
Finish: Long, sweet and fruity with a hint of sherry wood.
