With the smoothness of the 10 year-old allied to extra complexity from more ageing, this is a winner. 'A delicious and sophisticated dram with impressive depth and almost perfect weight.' Jim Murray, Whisky Magazine Dec 2000

Already a fan of the Jura 10yr, Elixir and Superstition with the 16yr on my extensive wishlist, I was delighted to find the 35cl size discontinued and less than half price at the supermarket! Sweet, spicy and full of flavour, even at full price it's good value.

I have tried the 10 year old and that’s not bad by any means but this is a beautiful whiskey. You can taste the sweetness if you hold it on your tongue for a moment; I found it better with a little water brings out the full flavour of the whiskey.

Purchased this whisky (75cl) in Chicago. It is bottled at 43% ABV. A slightly higher strength for export?
Yes, an Orange brandy character with much spice on the palate. 3/4 drops of water in 1.5 ounces of Jura brings rich honey sweetness. I love the body, a little buttery. Maybe a faint smoke. Maybe it's the wood I sense?
I enjoyed the 10, but this has much more of everything! $65 is great price for this wonderful whisky.

Hint hint hint - give it 46% ABV !

Firstly a light smoke, then a warming marzipan transforming into an orange liquor. Oily palate confirms its orangy opulence. A pity that not a 43 or 46% alc.Not as much complex as eg. Highland Park 18YO, but still a great fresh
