Irish Single Malt Whiskey
An awesome peated Irish malt that will knock unbelievers for six. A gentle yet intense peat presence on the palate, this is a brilliantly balanced dram that Islay fans will adore. Picked up the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.

I totally agree with Paddy. When I opened the bottle the alcohol was overpowering. Having left the bottle open a few hours now I can fully get the chocolate notes and some powerful peaty taste like a burnt field. it is a really good one and surprisingly easy to drink even without water

Pretty good, More like Ardmore than Ardbeg, would recommened that you open the bottle and leave it for a few hours to let the whisky get some air, I didn't and all I could taste could taste was peat and alcohol, but once it gets some air it's a nice wee dram.

This was amasing. I love Islay malts, but this was as good in any way than the best from Islay. You can feel the peat smoke coming out from your ears a day after the dram.

unbelievable, as a lover of irish whiskey im glad to see this getting a WWA award, i enjoy the way the smokeyess and spiciness touch the tongue at the same time, yet the smoke dies away first to give a sweet spicy finish, while you think of the mouth explosion thats after happening, this is one that will turn Auchentoshan lovers heads
