When I go to Eire I always come back with a bottle. It's amazingly smooth. It's my favourite whiskey I love it. Far better than Jameson.

Tried it, loved it - cures everything, coughs, colds, anything and it has a great flavour. Wouldn't be without it now.

Can you get this anywhere in Canada?

There's a rumor going around some places in America are selling it. I was so happy I thought I might pass out. I know the Irish look down on this whiskey and think us Yank are insane for loving it, but it really is a great whiskey. Trust me I've tried as many as possible

Jameson is the most one we drink in Ireland.

I love Paddys and used to buy it every time I flew - now no one sells it on the shelves in the UK. Drat!

I have had Bushmills and Jameson they are good. I have friends in Galway Ireland and they say Paddys is ok. However sometimes a basic drink is good no matter where you live. In the US Budweiser is a basic beer (not always the best). In other countries its very popular. I love Paddys and bring it home when I can and give it out at Christmas and everyone loves it. I cant wait until May when I go back to Galway and bring a couple bottles back to the states.

We schlep Paddy's home after every European trip because it is the best, smoothest whiskey we have ever had. Such a shame that we cannot get it in the US. Jameson is an OK everyday substitute, but it's Paddy's that comes out for the special toasts.

living in Ireland, most of us treat this as a poor whiskey by any standards of an Irish whiskey, reliably bad is my opinion of it, powers, Jameson and of course bushmills are much better examples of what irish whiskey is. for a true whiskey lover though i would recommend tyrconnell Madeira finish, one of the nicest Irish whiskey ive tasted in years

I only drink Paddys, here and there, because it is so smooth. It is a true sipping whiskey.

Paddy Old Fashion Whiskey is on the top of my drinking list.My son is in college and I gave him a bottle now everyone he shared it with wants to know where to purchase it
- anonymous, 15th Feb '10
There is no other whiskey like it and Iv tried alot of them espically when it comes to having a Hot whiskey nothing else tastes half as good as a hot Paddy's

Everyone is entitled to a preference, but the fellow who recommended Bushmills over Paddy had better be refering to one of Bushmills higher ends, because the white label is pathetic in comparison to Paddy. A great everyday whiskey.

I prefer to drink Paddys over our own Jack Daniels fine whiskey also much better than the more popular irish labels in Ireland
