peat and sherry are not normally styles that sit well together, i have tried some from other distilleries that have been shockingly bad. this however is brilliant. it doesnt take any of the peaty excelence away it just sweetens the malt, making it less harsh and making it smoother overall. but still alowwing the complexity to shine through. i was taken back by this one, u dont expect it to be this good, but it is. marvellous.
