Originally released around 2000, this great dram is becoming rarer and rarer. Laphroaig 30yo has garnered many plaudits, including a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2005.

I was given a box as a wedding gift. I almost took my friend on the honeymoon instead.

One of the finest islay whiskies ever created. Have been lucky enough to try it. Smooth, smokey sophisticated.

One of my all time favorite. I am amazed by the mere 43% in this powerful masterpiece! I wonder how it would stand if the price (or my wallet) allowed it to be an everyday dram...

Oh my goodness words can't describe this stuff but I will try. Silky smooth and complex, smokey, the entire tongue is just delighted at every precious sip.

Absolutely great. It is hard to describe its flavours. Really special.

I now know what heaven tastes like. I normally like my Islays strong and chewy, but the absolute refinement you get in this dram is incomparable, each flavor marching single file down your tongue so you can take it all in. You can't NOT love it.
