i have a unopened boxed bottle of 8 yr old malt 70% proof can you give me any idea of its value

I have an unopened bottle, almost identical to this except mine is 80 proof. Came in a bright blue carton. Cant seem to find any info on it either.

Don't confuse 'proof' with percentage alcohol by volume (ABV). 70 proof is not the same as 70% alcohol. In the UK, 70 degrees proof is almost exactly 40% abv (US proof is different)

I have an unopened boxed bottle of this whisky but yours is described as 40% proof and my bottle says 70% proof?
