Customer Reviews:
The best blended whisky by a mile, and in an affordable price range.

This is mellow and very drinkable...and not at all expensive.

There seem to be a remarkable number of people on here who don't know the the difference between WHISKY and WHISKEY, hang your heads in shame!
- Slartibartfast, 20th Sep '11
Best blended whisky by far, and only about three quid more than a bottle of Bells!
- Leveller, 15th Sep '11
Black Bottle used to be my favourite blend in this price range, but I'm sure they've changed the recipe, or maybe it's just me.BNJ takes the top spot by some margin now. As another reviewer has said, it's a shame it's not as widely available as it once was, a lovely drop.

An excellent blended whiskey that simply leaves competitors in the mud. A godsend to us in Australia!
- Michaelb, Canberra, 15th Jun '11
Absolutely fantastic blend for the price. Nice and smokey. Was told they were stopping to blend this any time soon, does anyone have any info on that?

Prob the best blended whiskey I have ever tasted, getting very hard to find in shops now. a great buy.
- Jim Sailor, 18th Jul '10
I really hope Glenmorangie/LVMH don't axe this, what with Glen Moray gone and all - it's great stuff! Just goes to show you can get a great whisky at any price!

Aussie shaun you do like to state the obvious! We know BNJ is a blend and not a single malt - that is why it is sold under this section!
- j. stelling hants, 28th Jun '10
This is by far my favourite blended whiskey. Slightly smokey and creamy at the same time and at a reasonable price. A great drink and one I buy consistantly and it never disappoints.

better to go to bed with than anything one might find elswhere
- sheila, 9th Feb '10
For a blend this is very good, not quite a single malt but a scotch that we drink a lot of.
- aussie shaun, 13th Jan '10
This or Famous Grouse. It would be BNJ every time. Best Blended ive ever had.

Sweet, mellow and a great whisky. Very easy drinking. Recommended to everybody.

In my experience the more you pay in a blended whisky, the more complex flavours appear and the longer finish you get. I happenned upon the BNJ happily and accidentally. It is sweet and the finish isn't all that long, however for the money IMHO this is probably the best value blend out there.
