Port Ellen 10 Year Old

An incredibly rare and very significant bottling of Port Ellen: not only is it the joint-youngest PE we've ever come across, and a fabulous example of how the distillery's spirit could age in a decent bourbon cask, it was also bottled near the beginning of the careers of one of Scotland's greatest independent bottlers, Signatory. This was part of a now-famous series of early Signatory bottlings from which a donation was made for each bottle sold to the Scottish Wildlife Trust, and features a lovable otter on the label. A genuine museum piece.
