Havana Club 3 Year Old Rum / Anejo

I normally avoid white rums like the plague - too many bad memories of drinking awful cheap stuff out on the Toon. However, this is total quality and I tried it recently by accident. Sweet and smooth with none of the bitter and cloying aftertaste of Bacardi.

I was fortunate to have at least heard about this brand. Even the cheapest Cuban rum, in most cases, are better than the most expensive rums made in the USA or even the Caribbean. I live in the United States of America and any kind of Cuban rum is illegal to buy, sell, trade, or even to bring into the country. At least for now. Most Americans have never tasted any Cuban rum. You can drink a toast with friends and family and talk about what Americans have never had the opportunity to taste.

Agreed. If you're still buying Bacardi for your mojitos . . . .why?! Couple of pounds more for a much, MUCH better drink

Great for a Mojito but not very good on it`s own unless you like an "oily taste".

Bought a bottle of this today for mojitos. Walked in my front door, dropped the bag it was in and the bottle smashed on the wood floor in the hall. Damn.

My favorite for Mojito. But i cant buy it here so i need to go to Cuba to get a new bottle. But ill appreciate all the mojito this bottle will make. If your mojito never taste as good as the one you drank in Cuba,its because you dont use the 3 yo HC. Try it and you ll see!

Best rum ever for cocktails. It's smooth, sweet, and has "Cuba" written in its flavoor. You can't find a better (light and little aged) rum for mojitos or daiquiris.

Beats every white rum I've tried hands down. It's much more subtle, with an almost vanilla undertone...I strongly suggest trying this one in a mojito!
