Havana Club Anejo Reserva Rum
70cl / 40%
One of the hidden gems of the Havana Club range, Anejo Reserva is weightier than the Anejo Especial without the extra sweetness of the 7yo. Along with the Cuban Barrel Proof, this is the connoisseur's choice for Havana Club (unless you're spending big money for the 15yo).

Customer Reviews:
Landed on a small Bahamian island. As Cuban rums are not available in the US I decided to try whatever I cannot get back home. The little local liquor store had only two bottles; a Havana Club blanco and Anejo Reserva. First impression on the nose was bananas and vanilla. Straight up it was quaffable but still a little "forward". Added a couple of ice cubes oh my goodness, what a delight. I wouldn't debase this rum by using it as a mixer.
- Rum happy guy, Today
This is indeed, a hidden gem. This Reserva is probably one of the best dark rum in the world. It is well-rounded, and has got every thing, spice, honey and is incredibly smooth and easy to drink.

I lived on this stuff on holiday in cuba tried a few different havana club rums but this was the best. went to havana club itself and had a tour very interesting sampled some rum and of course BROUGHT SOME RUM AND GLASSES TO TAKE HOME. I always have only drank vodka so for me this is incredible.

Awesome drink, lovely on its own, or over a couple of ice cubes,, but makes a super Cuba Libre as well in a 2:1 ratio, My rum of choice.

Fantastic rum. It always reminds me of Sourwood honey and Molasses. I was never a big fan of rum until I tried Havana Club.

Mellow smooth rum, tastier than the 7 yr old, fruity and a little sugary. It isn't as nice as Pampero Anniversario Especial, (superb) but it is still v. good, if your tastes lie that way. Rums like Appleton's VX are too varnish flavored for me, but this has none of that. Enjoy neat or on the rocks, it is easily smooth enough. If you must add coke, save yourself some money and get something cheaper? Mixing this with coke brings the phrase, 'This is an outrage!' to mind?!;)
