La Favorite Coeur de Rhum

Best Rhum yet and I have had many!

I've never been fed with grass, but I will try in another life, sure! Nevertheless, this is a good after meal, coffee time rum.

This rhum is quite different to anything I have tasted before. It has a fantastic honeyed nose, which reminded me of the smell of mead. This is followed by a nice sweet taste, but then a very odd aftertaste, a bit like chewing on blades of grass but much stronger. Although it is nice to see a small family run distillery still thriving, I don't think I will try this one again, but I would be really interested to see what other people think.
