I tried this rum at a friends house in Germany, fell in love instantly!!! He suprised me with a bottle that I carried home to the US. Now I'm hooked and can't find it!!!

I find it just OK. The nose is like from a 45% spirit - sharp alcohol and the sweetness is kind of too upfront. It's like the blend hasn't married for long enough and you can easily separate cheap base alcohol from its flavourings...which maybe is what it is? Worth a go if you like things sweet but it's not on par with the S.American sweet offerings like Diplomatico and the like.

I love Legendario rum, I have tried many different rums and this is by far my favourite, it is smooth, slightly sweet and tastes so good, it would convert a non rum drinker (my best mate loved it and she hates rum!). I think I may have to try some of the other Legendario rums as there are 3 others.. Rum heaven :0)

The review above is 100% true from the moment i brought just the one bottle i have been thinking the same. Very cheap in Cuba around £4 English but i shall be tempted to pay more when my bottle has finished.

I brought this home from Cuba and the only regret I have is that I didn't bring more back! A true treat to all rum, whisky and brandy drinkers with a bit of a sweet tooth
