Wall Street Journal recently sang the praises of this 10 year old, and they were right. This scotch holds its own with others that cost much more. It is not simple, but not too complex either.

Tamdhu was founded in Speyside in 1896 and was owned by Highland Distillers from 1898 until 1999, when HD was bought by Edrington Group. Tamdhu's sister distilleries in Edrington include Glenturret, Glenrothes, Highland Park and Macallan, and the vast majority of its spirit goes into the company's Famous Grouse and Cutty Sark blends.
