Last night at my gig I ignored the Lagavulin, Oban, Macallan, Bowmore rtc. on offer(unusual to find such variety in a country pub!) and went for this - the only malt out of a dozen or so I hadn't tried. Your review about sums it up - "classy elegance and easy drinkability"! A different whisky than the one Jim Murray scores a "bitter disappointment" in this year's Bible!!

This is a good whisky, much more rounded than the regular Tamdhu, with a little more sherry and smoothness, a lovely dram for a cold night, warm and welcoming without that burning sensation.
