This delicious reposado from Tapatio is rested for four months in ex-Bourbon casks to round out the flavour and tame the edges of the more robust Blanco. Without wishing to sound too much like Alan Partidge, this is Textbook Stuff.
For a refreshing summer drink, try this Reposado in the Paloma cocktail:
2 shots Tapatio Reposado
3 shots Grapefruit juice
Squeeze of fresh lime
Top up with soda or lemonade to taste
Serve in a large tumbler over plenty of ice with a wedge of lime. If you can find it, a fizzy grapefruit soft drink like Ting can be substituted for the grapefruit juice and soda/lemonade.
