A terrific rye vodka, distilled just twice and bottled without charcoal filtration to retain its full-flavoured nuttiness. Potocki is one of the best Polish vodkas on the market. Read what Time magazine had to say about Potocki here: http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/press/Time_Mag_Sept08.pdf

Tasted this vodka yesterday and was blown away by the smooth yet nutty finish. Tried a few other premium vodkas and they were either not smooth enough or the extra notes were a bit too robust.

Hands down winner of our vodka tastings. Traditional 'premium' vodkas try their hardest to filter out the vodka and just leave ethanol in its place. We had all assumed that being distilled only twice and unfilterd would leave it pretty harsh, but it was completely the opposite.. like drinking air. Very tasty air.

Went to Dukes bar in London, the home of the martini, where Ian Fleming came up with the legendary Bond line. They serve martinis with this Potocki and it was easily the best martini I've ever had. I'll be ordering it straight away.

This distillation lives up to its quality reputation. Minus the raw chemical taste of the typical western vodka concoction, Potocki has heart and soul.

Well, it takes a bit of getting used to since it's much stronger than US domestic vodkas. But its smooth and tasty and when coupled with Lillet makes a great martini.
