The bottling on which Glenfiddich cemented its reputation in the 1970s, this is a fabulously complex spirit for its age, (although 8yo was regarded as pretty old back then). A very tropical, fruity dram with Glenfiddich's textbook elegance - this is a winner.

The only age that Glenfiddich should be drunk,all these over 8 year plus Glenfiddich bottlings do injustice to a fine distillery.

Recently ran out of 'drinking' whisky so cracked open a bottle of the 8yo from my collection, thought it was very odd at first, however by the end of the week i was sorry to see it go. quite delightful. Will be after another.
