Johnnie Walker Swing
70cl / 43%
Blended Scotch Whisky
Swing (so named for the rocking motion of the bottle when pushed) has a rich old gold colour and a nose of almost perfumed sweetness. It is smooth with a light freshness that covers a deeper fruitiness with some smoke and oak flavours.

Nose: wonderful sherry notes (raisins and plums), vanilla and smoke.Palate: fresh and fruity, silky soft, apricots and even a touch of salt. Finish: a little bit of oak, drying with a touch of peat.Overall, this is a wonderful bottle, underestimated and underrated in my opinion. I like this one a lot!

The gold label Swing is quite old and would probably be worth a bit to a collector.

I have an unopened bottle with a metal gold label. Is this a rare bottle?

I have had my bottle of Swing for over 20 years - will it be worth how much?

Tried Swing Superior - never turn back to Swing again. Good whisky

is it true the name "swing" was given because the bottle was designed to withstand the waves bumping the ship and everything inside. This design prevented the bottle from toppling over

the taste is unique and wonderful. not as dry as you would expect from a scotch whisky and that I suppose, together with its concentrated texture, is what makes the SWING so special.

My understanding is that it is available 'over the border' in Indiana, but not yet in Illinois. Happy Hunting!

This is a very good scotch whiskey, my first drink was a great treat for an old whiskey drinker.I purchased it from a cruise ship last week and I would recommend this whiskey to even non scotch drinkers.Hope to find it in the Chicago area.
