US Proof and UK Proof are different. 100 proof is 50% abv in USA and 57.15% abv in UK. This can be expressed as a ratio of 7:4, meaning that 70 UK proof is 40% abv. You can read more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoholic_proof

label on this botlle clearly says 70 proof which is 35 per cent of alcohol so why do you advertise it as 40 per cent whisky?
