A nice nose with a very strong mouth which quickly generates much heat. Not overly complex and lightly peated, however is reasonably smooth on the palate dispite the strength. This whisky really hits you between the eyes and is one to go for if you want large heat and a definitive impact. Improves after the first sip.

Not one of my favourite Laddies. Nice nose of oakey vanilla but the taste development is very slow and never really gets there. There are much better Laddies than this.
