Color: deep amber/brown, seems to have a light viscosity and yet sticky on the glass.
Nose: rich, sweet, wine influences, dried red fruit, warm spices and liquorice. diluted: citrus fruit, some woodsmoke, deep and warm, toffee and caramel, coffee machiato (Starbucks), rich and complex.
Palate: full of flavor, some sherrywood, fruity, coffee. diluted: light flovors emerge, dry and some woodyness, vanille, fruity (appel?), liquorice.
Finish: dry, warm, spicy. diluted: notes of cederwood, dry and again this typical sherrywood finish.
Overall comment: One of the best Glenturret whisky's matured on sherry casks, very rare and wonderful oppurtunity to find out. Ace!!
