Brought back so many memories from back in the 80's. Classic, smooth exquisite
Old Parr - this is just perfect, couldn't ask for better.
Copper gold Oak, malt, dry fruit, herbal, hint of smoke Rich, mouth filling, oak, malt, spices, toasted almonds Moderate finish, spiciness, hint of smoke and peat Greatly recommended.
I have never really been into scotch until I tried this. A friend came back from Trinidad and Tobago with this and suggested I try it. I've been hooked since. I've never really been a straight scotch or whiskey guy, but Grand Old Parr was so good, I bought I sphere ice molds just to sip this scotch. The first time I drank it with the sphere ice, there were a lot of flavors that seemed to unlock. In all, highly recommended if you can find it
In my job, I was regularly in the US, back in the 80`s There I discovered this Whisky, and during those years, this was a highlight when it becomes to liquor. Sadly I cant find it in Norwegian liquor stores. Later I have tried a lot of different kind of Whisky, but even if there is many good types of it, I still dream of the taste of the Old Parr.
