Never drank rum before. Bought some on a whim at Punta Cana airport on my way out of the country. It's good stuff! Delicious!

Purchased a bottal of Brugal rum in the Dominican and WOW its good.

I toured the Brugal factory when in Dominican Republic. They cure this stuff for 5 years in an enormous barrell thats had the inside burnt with a blowtorch. As a result, this stuff has a lovely woody smokey flavour and is, I think, the tastiest rum you will ever find!!

Love this stuff. Not a fan of rum until I tried this. One drink follows another and I find it hard to stop. Too expensive in this country, but will treat myself to some more one day ($6 in Puerto Plata bottling plant)

I was never a big rum drinker until my friend recommended me Brugal...It's fantastic!!!..With lots of freshly squeezed lime and crushed ice served with a dash of cold Coke...Try it and you'll love it!!!...
