Tasting Notes:
Bottler's Tasting Notes

Nose:  Lightly spiced (Brylcreem?) rich and malty.

Palate:  Sweet, chewy, finely oaked and vanilla'd.

Finish:  Buttery, smoky and oaky (more than O.K.).

Tasting Notes by Tim F

Nose:  Waxy & oily at first nosing.  Then honey notes, some floral esters, slight turfiness, spot of ginger and spices turning up eventually.  With time, more floral notes appear.

Palate:  Oily peat initially, then the malt struggles through.  A bit disappointing.

Finish:  Some disquieting soapy notes amongst the peatiness. 

Comment:  A quite promising nose let down on the palate.  Interesting, but not to my taste.
