Very rare to find any spirit from a WWII vintage, so this is a real testimony to the bravery of the producer as well as the quality of this Armagnac, which was bottled in 1995 at fifty years of age. Awesome stuff.

Bottler's Tasting Notes

Gold colour, with mahogany hints.

We find some very fine oaky flavour on the nose.  Toasted bread, vanilla flavours are dominant.  Some menthol notes on the second nose.  In the palate, the flavours are very different: rancio, leather, spices.  Long.
