Douglas Laing Platinum Selection malts have all been very good so far, so this could be something to get excited about. The colour is extremely dark - we think this might turn out to be an absolute belter.

"On initial nosing, rich fruited aromas are evident, hinting at its Sherry cask maturation. These aromas warm to reveal ginger, cloves, sweet malt and honey. The chewy and creamy body leads to a mouth-coatingly rich palate, replete with dried orange peel, honey-coated malt and a late oceanic quality. The lingering finish reveals sweetlypeated smoke, alongside more orange and ginger notes!"
