Macallan Speymalt 1938/40/50/67/73/88

A full set of the most recent releases in Gordon & MacPhail's Speymalt series of Macallans (and it represents a good saving on the individual prices of each bottle). At sixty-five years old, the 1938 bottling happens to pip the Glenfiddich 1937 to the title of oldest whisky ever released, but for some reason G & M haven't really promoted it as such. This is a great value range, especially considering that G & M were the official bottlers of Macallan until the 1980s.
