Very smart packaging on this old favourite from Buffalo Trace. W L Weller's high proportion of wheat in the mashbill gives this a silky smoothness, and the overall effect is a fantastic flavour and intensity - for an American whiskey of this age this is excellent value.
I have just come into the whisky world, espessially Bourbon. i have brought most of the award winning whiskies over the last few months including the eagle rare 17yr. plus a few other £50 plus bottles. this is my favourite. no fancy tasting notes like reminding me of hot buttered muffins etc. its just rather sweet and rather nice and not harsh its the only one I will be buying again. its my favourite :-)

What a cracking bourbon this is. Goes down very easy and has a very sweet, buttery and almost chocolatey taste. And the warm spicy finish leaves you with a big fat smile on your face and gagging for another sip...
